Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineeris responsible forleading the development of complete electrical design packages, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials that meet manufacturing, regulatory, and client requirements. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical control equipment, as well as the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and client teams. As a senior member of the Engineering team, this individual will provide mentorship, technical guidance, and design leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Accountabilities:
Develop and deliver complete electrical design packages (schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs) for low- and medium-voltage control equipment.
Ensure designscomply withapplicable standards (IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL) as well as client specifications.
Collaborate with manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and field service teams to resolve design challenges and improve reliability.
Lead client-facing communication on technical issues, ensuring requirements aremetand solutions are delivered professionally and on time.
Partner with estimators to provide design input on job size, configurations, and feasibility to supportaccurateproject quotes.
Build andmaintainstrong vendor relationships to research materials, evaluatenew technologies, and develop design symbols.
Provide technical support during production and client witness testing; troubleshoot wiring and control issues when needed.
Mentor junior designers and engineers, supporting the department's continuous improvement of design standards, tools, and processes.
Drive innovation by contributing to new product development and improvement projects.
