Bus Assembly Foremen

Job Description

This role supports the assembly of copper bus required for electrical equipment. The overall objective of this position is to provide high quality craftsmanship when assembling copper bus and similar conductive material using best in class installation techniques in order to contribute to a team focused on achieving industry leading cycle time, delivering superior quality, and assisting in reducing per unit costs. Consistent andaccuraterepresentation of the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.

Accountabilities

• Supervise and schedule staff on projects to meet quality standards and on-time shipment requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and direct corrective actions of the Bus Assembly team by ensuring efficient installation of fabricated bus materials.
• Prioritizes workflow and allocation ofmanpowerresources for project scheduling and delivery by coordinating efforts through active collaboration with the Production Manager, Engineering Department, and other Manufacturing team members.
• Train personnelin allareasofshop busassembly and installation,while providingexpertisetoField ServiceTechnicians on the floor or on-site foroptimalclient responsiveness and feedback capabilities.
• Provide positive reinforcement, constructive feedback,coaching,and mentorship to team members and provide recommendations for promotions and terminations to the Production Manager.
• Ensure a safe workplace for all personnel and visitors to the Manufacturing floor through strict adherence to safety standards as well as OSHA and EPA requirements
