We're recruiting for a hands-on Quality Manager to lead plant-level quality operations within a manufacturing environment focused on foundry, casting and brazing processes.

The successful candidate will act as the senior quality authority on site driving defect reduction, leading audits, improving supplier quality, and owning customer-facing quality performance across the plant.

The environment is fast-paced manufacturing with a strong focus on process control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plant Quality Management Systems (ISO9001 / IATF16949)
• Drive reduction of internal and external defects across casting and brazing operations
• Lead customer quality investigations, 8D corrective actions, and root cause analysis
• Manage customer, supplier, and third-party audits
• Own PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and First Article activities
• Oversee gauge calibration, inspection systems, and measurement standards
• Drive supplier quality improvement and corrective actions
• Report quality KPIs including PPM, COPQ, and OTD to leadership
• Control non-conforming material and MRB processes
• Support new product introduction and process validation

Requirements

• Strong manufacturing quality leadership background
• Experience within casting and/or brazing operations is essential
• 8+ years of quality experience within manufacturing
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 and ideally IATF16949
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Strong root cause and corrective action experience (8D, RCA)
• Experience managing audits, suppliers, and customer quality issues
• ERP and Minitab experience preferred

Location

This role is based in York, PA and is commutable from:
York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Hanover, Lebanon, and surrounding Pennsylvania areas.
