Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Fairfield, CA
Duration: 8-Week Initial Contract (Potential Extension)
Schedule:
Day shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (Tue- Thus),11:00 PM 7:30 AM (Fri Sat)
Weekends: 3 PM -11: 30pm
All shifts are 8-hour shifts ( 40 hrs - 8 x5)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a fast-paced diagnostic imaging team in Fairfield, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols.
• Assist and instruct patients before and during examinations.
• Evaluate imaging studies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Inspect and clean imaging equipment prior to use.
• Report equipment failures or malfunctions to the Radiology Supervisor.
• Report patient complaints, discrepancies, and adverse drug reactions according to QA policies.
• Process images, organize paperwork, and complete required charge documentation.
• Support other imaging areas as needed, including Radiology and Ultrasound.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and Department of Health standards.
• Participate in call or standby coverage when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in General Radiology.
• At least one year of CT experience required.
• Some clerical and computer experience preferred.
