Job OverviewAs a Senior Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for executing the engineering portion of OTR contracts with a Balance of Plant (BOP) scope. You will drive consistent functional specifications and global processes for project implementation, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves moderate travel within the US, Latin America, and globally.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical execution of BOP-scoped projects from contract signature to completion.
- Manage a cross-functional engineering team to navigate project risks and opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance to Project Management and Client's internal engineering teams.
- Review customer specifications and communicate project requirements to design functions.
- Evaluate financial and schedule impacts of customer-requested scope changes.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Minimum of 6 years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in project/team management in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical codes and compliance.
- Familiarity with turbo machinery, generators, or power plant accessory systems.
- Previous experience with Client systems is preferred but not required.
