Job Description
AstheProject Manager of theTerafabOperationsGroup, you willreport to theHead ofTerafabOpsand work in tandem withConstruction Manager. You willberesponsible forplanningand managing projectdeployments,buildingand tracking project budgets,reporting, and client communication.Your primary scopeincludesmanagingthree to four concurrent deploymentswhich involvesregular interfacingthroughweekly meetings andproject site visits,project cost & schedule management,developingclient drivenKIsuch assystem uptime and schedule milestones,andweekly progress reports.Additionalscope includesinterfacing withsubcontractors both in and out ofTerabaseemploy,participation in contractual negotiations,facilitatingfeedback to R&D/mfg,monitoringoverall health of deployment teams,andensuring clients have all safety and process related documentation.Successfulpersonswilldemonstratemeticulous organizationwith an emphasis on accuracy and timelinesscoupled with anin depthunderstanding ofperson to personcommunications and a rapport building approach.

Responsibilities

DailyProjectOperations

• Understand major KI#1 Consistent production

• Supportcustomer engagements, from booking to delivery,demonstratingoperational excellence resulting inhappycustomers.

• Identify, build, andmaintainrelationships with new and existingclientsand contractors,negotiatingcontracts, andensuringsafe and efficient execution of contracts and services.

ProcessImprovement

• Collaborate with other departments on operational requirements needed to meet customer deliverables and departmental priorities.

• Identifyinefficient operational processesand training gaps and build plans to address

• Build and refine theTerafabofficial operationsmobilization checklist

ProductDevelopment

• Maintain a complete understanding of our products and services.

• Identifyand promote changes inTerabase'stechnology stack to increase operational efficiency.

• Activelyfeed backsystem deficiencies, quality issues, and insufficient reliability to R&D and manufacturing

Customer Success

• Understandmajor KI #2:Happy customers

• Work in partnership with the sales team to provide expanded services and support organic growth within existing accounts.

• Act asa voiceof the customer by representing their perspectives and interests in areas such as product roadmap, technical support, quality, etc.

Reporting& Management ofKPIs

• Develop,monitor,and trackkeyperformanceindicatorsfor each project according to key operational efficiencyobjectivesand customer success metrics.

• Circulate precise reports to stakeholders that accuratelydepict project health status

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree inengineering, business management, energy, or related field.

• 3+years experienceworking as a project or operations manager in thesolaror renewableenergy industry,heavy construction, or aerospace industry

• Knowledge ofcomponents of PV plants; PV modules, trackers, inverters, and battery storage systemsis a plus.

• Knowledgeorexperience working with photogrammetryand drone image processingsoftware such as Pix4D,AgisoftMetashape,ODM,DroneDeploy, ArcGIS,SimActiveCorrelator3D, Propeller,etc..

• Proficiencyin project management tools/softwaresuch as MS Project, Salesforce,etc.

• Excellent time management and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication,customer relationship skills, and ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment.

• Advanced or expert skill level in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Experience working with cloud-based platforms such asAmazon Workspaces (AWS), JIRA and other Atlassian tools such as Confluence,andMicrosoftOfficesuite of applications.

• Experience leading a small team and working with remotely distributed contractors.

• Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup and work with minimal supervision.

• Travel up to50% of the time, primarily US-based project sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inconstruction trades, particularly utility scale solar construction

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and OSHA standards

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
