Seeking a motivated Civil Staff Engineer for a premier engineering firm in Charleston, WV. Responsibilities:
- Technical Design: Assist in the design and testing of engineering solutions forsite layouts and transportation systems.
- Project Lifecycle Support: Collaborate with Senior Project Managers onplanning, scheduling, and execution phases.
- Documentation: Draft technical reports, environmental impact summaries, andpermit applications.
- Data Analysis: Conduct site research and analytical studies to overcomegeographic and structural challenges.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal safety and qualityregulations.
- Education: BS in Civil Engineering (or Mechanical) from an ABET-accreditedprogram.
- Certification: EI/EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is preferred but notrequired at the time of hire.
- Experience: 03 years in a professional engineering environment (Internshipscount!).
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is highlyadvantageous.
- Travel: Must be willing to participate in periodic day travel for site inspectionsand client meetings.
