This role ensures reliable data operations by leveraging strong Unix and Python expertise to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize production data systems. The Data Engineer will support critical services, resolve system issues efficiently, and sustain platform stability across data pipelines and infrastructure. Success in this role directly improves system uptime, operational resilience, and data reliability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with Unix operating systems
• Python programming
• Autosys job scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot production data systems
• Analyze logs to identify root causes of system issues
• Maintain and optimize Unix shell scripts
• Manage Python environments using pip and conda
• Support SMTP-based services and job scheduling workflows
• Collaborate with teams to resolve production incidents
