Construction Coordinator

Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Job Location:Williamsburg, VA (Local Candidates Only)
Job Duration:12 Months (possibility of extension)
Schedule: They will be on a 5/8 work schedule Monday through Fridays with overtime

Travel Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with frequent travel to different site locations.
• They will be responsible for driving a company/company rental vehicle.

Education Requirement:

• Minimum HS Diploma required.

Experience Required:

• Some directly related experience (transmission line or heavy construction): 4-10+ years.
• Some knowledge of construction, operations and maintenance of transmission lines; switching, tagging and grounding; concrete construction.
• Basic knowledge of contract administration and OSHA safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of computer programs.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Project management.
• Public relations.

• Read and understand technical specifications.
• Work independently, evaluate problems and make sound decisions.
