Job Description:

The TM1 & Informatica Planning Systems Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise financial planning and forecasting solutions built onIBM Planning Analytics (TM1)andInformatica-based data integrations. This role bridges Finance, FP&A, and Data Engineering teams to ensure accurate, timely, and governed data flows into planning models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

TM1 / Planning Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintainTM1 models, including cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, and feeders


• Build and supportTurboIntegrator (TI) processesfor data loading, transformations, validations, and automation


• Develop and enhancePlanning Analytics Workspace (PAW)and/orPA for Excel (PAfE)content


• Support planning use cases such asBudget, Forecast, OPEX, Revenue, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow


• Implement and manageTM1 security(cube, dimension, element, and application-level)


• Performance tune TM1 models, rules, and feeders to support scalable enterprise workloads

Informatica / Data Integration

• SupportInformatica mappings, workflows, and schedulesto feed data into TM1


• Partner with data engineering teams to ensuredata quality, completeness, and timeliness


• Support data refresh cycles aligned to financial close and planning timelines

Cross Functional & Operational Responsibilities

• Partner withFinance, FP&A, and business usersto gather requirements and deliver planning solutions


• SupportUAT, production releases, and hypercarefor planning system enhancements or upgrades


• Troubleshoot data, reconciliation, and performance issues across TM1 and Informatica layers


• Create and maintaintechnical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures


• Participate in planning system modernization, upgrades, or cloud migration initiatives


• Ensure solutions align withdata governance, controls, and audit requirements
