Position Overview

CloudRay is hiring an Automotive Floater for a reputable automotive manufacturer near Huntsville, AL. This is a hands-on position focused on body prep, sanding, bonding, and finishing work on modular boxes before paint and final assembly.

Job Responsibilities

Sand and prepare modular boxes for bodywork and painting
Apply and smooth bondo compound on surfaces as needed
Grind, sand, buff, and finish repaired areas for paint preparation
Mask and tape boxes for paint and finishing operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications

No experience required automotive body shop experience is a plus
Ability to use hand tools, sanders, grinders, and buffing equipment
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing
Must be able to wear respiratory protection equipment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must pass background check and drug screening
Closed-toe shoes required

Schedule & Pay

MondayThursday: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM 2:00 PM

Optional Overtime Available:
Early start at 5:00 AM
Saturdays: 7:30 AM 12:00 PM
