Workday Integration Developer
Job Responsibilities:
-Integration Management: Maintain and monitor daily performance of Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and API integrations across internal and third-party systems.
-Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate integration failures, identify root causes, and implement resolution steps efficiently to minimize business disruption. Own and manage support tickets end-to-end.
-Operational Continuity: Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues during the backfill period. Ensure integration schedules, data flows, and file deliveries occur without delays.
-New/Change Requests: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement new integrations, enhancements and updates within existing integrations.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors to support seamless data integration and compliance.
-Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain technical and functional documentation, including integration specs, configuration logs, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge continuity and future transitions.
-Compliance & Data Security: Ensure integrations adhere to organizational operational & security standards, audit requirements, and privacy regulations.
-Release Management: Support regression testing and validation of integrations during Workday's semi-annual updates and system patches.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Five plus (5)+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integrations within mid-to-large enterprise environments.
-Strong command of Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.
-Experience with XSLT, XML, SOAP/REST web services, JSON, SFTP, and data transformation tools.
-Familiarity with data loads, file feeds, and secure transmission protocols.
-Experience supporting Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, and Compensation.
-Strong problem-solving mindset with proven ability to analyze technical and functional issues independently.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Ability to work autonomously and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
