We are looking for a proactive and client-focused professional to join our Application Support function. This individual will provide hands-on technical support for a proprietary trading platform utilized by investment professionals across the firm. The role partners closely with technology teams as well as front-office stakeholders including portfolio managers, quantitative teams, traders, and operations personnel to maintain system reliability and quickly resolve production issues.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for both financial markets and technology. This opportunity offers broad exposure across trading, operations, and technology within a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and support critical trading and operational applications
  • Perform daily health checks to ensure trading platforms and related systems are functioning properly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by front-office and middle-office users
  • Conduct QA and user acceptance testing for new releases and system enhancements
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors/data providers
  • Prioritize incoming support requests and manage incidents efficiently
  • Investigate and resolve production issues across trading infrastructure while coordinating updates with relevant business and technology teams
  • Develop monitoring and alerting solutions, review logs, and analyze system performance to proactively identify operational risks and improve system stability
  • Identify process or system inefficiencies and assist with implementing scalable improvements
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Coordinate with brokers and external vendors regarding order flow or connectivity issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, workflows, operational procedures, and support processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • 5 10 years of experience in an application or production support environment
  • Exposure to financial markets and familiarity with one or more asset classes
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
  • Experience with Python and exposure to electronic trading or order management systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of FIX protocol, Linux environments, and SQL Server
  • Familiarity with market data platforms, Git, and Jira
  • Flexibility to support critical systems outside standard business hours when necessary
