Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? OB Techs
OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? No
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) 2 Vents, 2 Bubble CPAP
Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Telemetry is available. RN s read strips in OB. Monitor techs upstairs if continuous monitoring required.
EFM System Client Centricity
Shifts & Scheduling Am/PM 12 hour shifts. Yearly core schedules in place.
Weekend Requirement every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority
Vacation Requirement Per ONA contract
Is there a call or standby requirement? 2 - 12 hour call shift every 4 weeks.
Floating Requirements Closed Unit, unless emergency measures in place
Scrub Color/Dress code Scrubs provided. Color Purple
Unit/Department specific orientation Completed on all new and incoming employees
