Overview:

This is aPRN MRI Technologistopportunity offeringpremium PRN pay, with an additionalshift differential for weekend coverage.

Schedule Options:

• Weekday coverage:Monday or Friday
• Weekend coverage:Saturday and/or Sunday

Shifts are flexible based on availability and department needs.

• West Ashley Diagnostic Imaging

Responsibilities:

• Perform highquality MRI scans efficiently by reviewing patient history, screening for safety, positioning patients, and selecting proper scan parameters.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents as allowed by state and federal regulations.
• Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and adjust imaging as needed to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Accurately document all patient, scan, and treatment information and archive images per guidelines.
• Maintain workflow efficiency, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standardsincluding MRI safety, cryogen awareness, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent patient care by providing clear instructions, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding MedQuest customer service standards.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and required training.
• Support team members, share knowledge, and assist with crosstraining or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
• Must complete required CEUs in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
• Active state licensure, where applicable
• CPR Certification is required

Prior Experience:

• 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Special Qualifications:

• IV skills required
• Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
• Skill in operation of MRI equipment
• Customer service background and focus
