Engineering Techician

Overview:

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (LXL Radar (phone number removed):

Bowhead seeks a Engineering Technician to join our team in support of an upcoming contract at. the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division.

Responsibilities:

Essential functions will include:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to assist in system diagnostics, performance evaluation, and prototype development.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, measurements, and observations for analysis and reporting.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree with a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.
• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Prior experience at NSWC Crane highly preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a clearance at a Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
