Material Handler NMBS

Production position that will assist with all functions of production in a steel processing facility with deck rolling mills, paint line, weld line, fabrication/assembly area, and accessories equipment.
Responsibilities:- Material handling with forklift, crane, or by hand
- Operation of all plant equipment
- Assembly of specialized products
- Light maintenance duties
- Any other duties necessary for improving plant/equipment performance
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
- Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-directed and motivated
- Well organized and detail orientated
- Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solve
- Must have good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Formal technical education or equivalent, preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial plant or equivalent, preferred
