Flexographic Press Operator
We are seeking experienced Flexographic Press Operators to join our team in West Henrietta, NY.
This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality designs and lettering on various stock materials.
Shift Hours:
2nd shift - 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM - Monday - Friday
Pay: $18-27 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Reads job order, installs cylinder on shaft, and secures assembly in bed of press.
- Fills ink trays with specified inks.
- Moves levers to engage dye rolls, adjusting position of cylinder to print one or more colors without overlapping or smearing previously printed area.
- Inserts shaft through core of paper or plastic roll and secures roll on press in feed position.
- Splices end of roll to trailer sheet remaining in press and regulates roll tension and feed as directed.
- Sets up specific tools required for job such as; dies, perfs, sheeter, turnbar, turret and lamination.
Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing plate as necessary. - Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for imperfections, such as blurred or off-center impressions.
- Maintenance of press performed as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; 1-3 months of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and perform precise measurements.
- Basic math and reasoning skills to troubleshoot standardized problems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software is a plus.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts in a loud production setting.
- Requires standing, lifting (up to 100 lbs occasionally), and close vision.
