Project Overview:
- The role in the Utility Project Delivery organization, supports the administration and implementation of project management information systems (PMIS) and business transformation projects.
- Key initiatives include PMIS product management, enhanced reporting, and modernization of department tools, technology and procedures.
- This individual should have direct experience with analytics and document control, with knowledge of working in a construction/engineering office.
- This role will provide technical and administrative support, promoting efficient day-to-day system and user support.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Product Management. Provide technical and administrative support for Utility Project Delivery systems and technology.
- This includes maintenance of system administration guides, management of standard operating procedures (SOP) and user access management.
- Technology Implementation. Support implementation of departmental systems and processes through user support and training.
- Analytics and Reporting. Lead the development of standard project delivery reports, leveraging digital and automation tools and technology.
- Support data management best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Business Transformation.
- Provide project coordination support for team initiatives and special projects, including planning, progress reporting, document control and stakeholder management support.
Skills:
- Experience with PMIS software systems.
- Strong product and project management skills.
- Advanced analytics and reporting software skills (Power BI, DAX, API, SQL, etc.).
- Comfortable with public speaking, including training, presentations and meetings.
- Understanding of Project Management Institute and Construction Industry Institute best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and interact effectively with stakeholders of all levels.
Education & Certifications:
- Procore experience required, certifications preferred. Power BI experience required.
- 4-year degree required.
- Military experience is acceptable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferred.
