We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect Oracle Cloud Operate to lead end-to-end solution architecture across Oracle Cloud environments.
This role is responsible for ensuring production stability, integration governance, and operational excellence in an AMS (Operate) environment, while acting as the escalation point for complex issues and driving continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Own current and target-state architecture across Oracle Cloud (ERP/SCM)
- Define integration patterns, data flows, and non-functional requirements
- Establish design standards and best practices
- Act as escalation point for complex cross-module and integration issues
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and recurrence prevention
- Ensure adherence to incident, problem, and change management frameworks
- Govern integrations using:
- FBDI
- REST / SOAP APIs
- OIC / Middleware
- Ensure monitoring, error handling, reprocessing, and system resiliency
- Lead production release planning (defects and enhancements)
- Manage environment readiness, cutover, and validation activities
- Support controlled production changes
- Drive quarterly update readiness:
- Impact assessment
- Regression testing coordination
- Production validation
- Maintain and approve runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles
- Provide operational reporting (SLA, incident trends, recurring issues)
- Mentor support teams and drive best practices
- 8+ years of Oracle experience (Oracle Cloud preferred)
- Proven experience as Solution Architect in AMS / Operate environments
- Strong expertise in:
- FBDI, APIs (REST/SOAP)
- OIC / Middleware
- OTBI, BI Publisher
- Groovy, OCI, VBCS
- Strong experience in ITIL-based support models
- Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Experience in Oracle Cloud AMS / Operate delivery
- Experience with ServiceNow or Jira
- Exposure to OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View
