Turbine Mechanical Engineer
Hybrid Role - in office 3 day per week
Key Experiences
- Experience in Aero Turbine Design or Analysis
-- May accept similar technology industrial turbine, or possibly turbo charger design
General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies
- Understand cross-discipline engineering concepts, e.g., manufacturing, thermal analysis, cost
- An ability to apply analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems
- Knowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks
- Good communication and presentation skills

- Exp with Design or Analysis or trubine blades and veins
Key Duties
- Deliver design solutions for component(s), complex assemblies and whole engines
-Address Unit Cost, Lifecycle Cost, Weight, Maintainability, Repair.
- Deliver definition to appropriate stakeholder groups requirements (MBSE).
- Create and use automated and integrated tool sets.
- Elimination of Non-Conformance/Zero Defects/Delivery of Producibility
-Application of Robust Design, Systems Engineering, Risk Management (xFMEA) .
- Quality Assurance through checking of design documents, models, drawings
- Carry out analyses for dimensioning of parts and components (e.g. stability, stiffness, weights)
- Manage product configuration and assure data integrity.
- Execute sub-system integration process
