  • Pay Rate: $80.00 $85.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours (6:30 AM 5:00 PM)

Job Summary: Cath Lab Tech position at an acute care hospital with 150 staffed beds, rated as one of America's 100 Best hospitals for Coronary Intervention by (url removed) and recipient of the American Heart Association's Bronze Get award. This role involves a daily caseload of 8 12 procedures including coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker placement. The facility is located in Eureka, California, easy driving distance of 7 different state and national parks, showcasing everything from the rugged California coast to the famous Redwood highway, where you can drive through a forest of the oldest trees on Earth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures
  • Perform peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
  • Support permanent pacemaker placement procedures
  • Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled

Education Requirements:

  • ARRT certification required
  • Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
  • Pending state fluoroscopy permit accepted if candidate has already applied for the permit at time of submission

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required
  • First-time Cath Lab Tech applicants accepted

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Call requirements apply; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Facility provides scrub colors for OR/Cath Lab staff
  • Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
  • 30-hour orientation period

Important Notes:

  • RTO (Return to Occupation) must be approved at time of submission
  • RCIS certification is not accepted; ARRT certification required
  • No weekend rotation required
  • No floating between departments required
  • Block schedule accommodation may be considered
  • Local candidates accepted
