Join our fastpaced and passionate team as a Senior PCB Layout Engineer 4. In this role, you will take ownership of complex PCB designs, collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical engineers, and help establish layout practices that support our mission and growth. This is a handson position for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic startup environment, communicates clearly, and consistently delivers highquality layout work for highperformance RF and mixedsignal systems.

Youll work independently on challenging designs to ensure bestinclass signal integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining clear communication with the project engineer, electrical designers, and crossfunctional teammates.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to ensure high performance and signal integrity for low-noise and RF designs.
  • Execute complex PCB layout tasks including stackup definition, routing strategy, placement optimization, and documentation.
  • Apply discipline, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to company best practices.
  • Perform design reviews, incorporate feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of layout processes.
  • Take initiative to grow technical competency through mentorship, curiosity, and exposure to new tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, ECE, or a related field desired; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5 years of relevant PCB layout experience, ideally within a startup or highperformance hardware environment.
  • Demonstrated experience laying out GHz RF, highspeed digital, and mixedsignal PCBs.
  • Experience with controlledimpedance routing, differential pairs, and highfrequency design constraints.
  • Experience using Altium Designer.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of PCB stackups, materials, and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to translate electrical schematics into optimized PCB layouts that meet performance, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
  • Familiarity with analog and GHz RF layout best practices including grounding, shielding, isolation, and minimizing parasitics.
  • Knowledge of highspeed digital layout concepts such as returnpath integrity, length matching, and crosstalk mitigation.
  • Ability to generate fabrication and assembly documentation including Gerbers, ODB++, and manufacturing notes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform PCB placement and routing for RF, analog, and highspeed digital circuits.
  • Define PCB stackups in collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers.
  • Maintain schematictolayout consistency, including BOM alignment and revision control.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly packages and coordinate with PCB vendors to ensure highquality builds.
  • Conduct design rule checks (DRC), signalintegrityaware layout reviews, and manufacturability assessments.
  • Perform bringup and testing activities by collaborating with electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Participate in rootcause analysis for layoutrelated failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development of internal layout standards, libraries, and workflows.

Benefits

The expected annual salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000.
