Position Details

Job Title: Operations Software Analyst
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Duration: 9 12 months
Location: Remote
Travel: Up to 50% travel (approximately 2 weeks per month within the U.S.)

• Primarily Monday Friday travel

• Occasional weekend travel possible

• Some off-hours travel expected

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week (8-hour days, Monday Friday)

• Approximately 50 hours per week while traveling

Open Positions: 2 (possibility for a 3rd position)

Job Summary

The Operations Software Analyst will support and maintain AVEVA MES applications across multiple manufacturing sites while assisting with implementation, optimization, and integration of MES functionality. This role includes collaboration with internal teams and travel to support site deployments, training, and system adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain AVEVA MES applications across multiple manufacturing sites

• Participate in implementation of new MES functionality, including configuration, testing, and deployment

• Develop and optimize SQL queries and reporting to support production operations

• Troubleshoot MES issues and coordinate resolution with internal and external teams

• Provide end-user training and documentation to support system adoption

• Assist in integrating MES with enterprise systems such as ERP and WMS

• Travel up to 50% to support site deployments, user engagement, and training initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 2+ years of experience working with MES systems

• Strong SQL skills (queries, views, data analysis)

• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as:

  • VB.NET

  • C#

  • AVEVA QuickScript

  • Python

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with:

  • End users

  • Technical teams

  • Leadership

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA MES

• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, process data, or production metrics

• Experience integrating MES with ERP/WMS or other enterprise systems
