Senior Pattern Engineer

Job Summary:
  • Focus on research and development of products from concept to retail.
  • Work with Marketing and Design teams to turn design concepts into patterns.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to provide expertise in pattern-making and fit.
  • Create first models from concept images.
  • Make styling and fit changes during design or fit sessions.
  • Inspect and critique product samples.
  • Create or revise product specifications with detailed construction notes.
  • Ensure specifications outline cost-effective construction methods.
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Designer in pattern-making.
  • Ability to create patterns from scratch or adjust existing ones for women's athletic wear.
  • Knowledge of garment construction for knits (preferred).
  • Ability to represent the brand and work in athlete-facing roles.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with performance wear.
  • Experience with outerwear, dresses, and skirts.
  • Familiarity with PDM, PCX, PLM, and web-based tools for comments and record keeping.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternative combinations:
    • PhD or Law + 3 years.
    • Master's + 4 years.
    • Associate degree + 6 years.
    • High School diploma + 7 years.
Additional Notes:
  • This role covers full-time leave support for Women's Golf and provides additional support for Tennis.
  • Portfolios should demonstrate pattern-making expertise, previous relevant work, and complexity of designs.
