Description:
- Own end-to-end test execution, including test automation and test result documentation in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, following Agile practices.
- Execute validation for over-the-air (OTA) software updates, connected services, and data-acquisition features, including normal, negative, and edge cases.
- Provide technical support to integratedigital solutions from development through release.
- Debug complex issues across the ECM, telematics device, and cloud or backend systems.
- Develop automation tools or scripts to improve testing efficiency and expand test coverage.
- Share test progress and critical technical issues with project managers in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain reusable test artifacts, test evidence, and coverage records that remain useful beyond the contract period.
- Maintain test execution standards, including documentation quality, test-bench readiness, and clear progress reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required for this position.
- Telematics / connected-vehicle validation - Advanced: Validate OTA software-update and connected-services workflows.
- Embedded or device validation - Advanced: Execute end-to-end test flows, debug complex issues, and support high-quality validation across projects.
- Protocols (CAN / J1939 / UDS) - Advanced: Analyze network communication, interpret logs, and troubleshoot issues.
- CANalyzer / PCAN tools - Intermediate: Perform message analysis, simulation, and tool based troubleshooting.
- Cloud platforms and backend services (Azure / AWS) - Basic: Understand system architecture and support end-to-end integration testing.
- Automation - Intermediate: Develop tools or scripts to improve efficiency and expand test coverage.
- Collaboration - Basic: Communicate technical issues clearly and support partner integration activities.
- Documentation - Intermediate: Clearly document test results, issues, and technical concepts for stakeholders.
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems - Intermediate: Create, manage, and maintain test artifacts, test results, and defect records within a PLM system.
- Agile practices - Basic: Plan and execute testing within Agile frameworks, including sprint work, defect tracking, and clear progress updates.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience improving validation processes or reusable test frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-to-device integration architecture in telematics systems.
- Experience creating dashboards or reports to track validation progress and quality.
