ETL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJSalary Range: CompetitiveIntroduction

Work closely with business partners to develop requirements, record and document the design and work closely with the Tech/Business product owners, architecture team for direction. Lead / Participate in discussions with information architecture team for coming determining design solutions, proposing new technology adoption ideas, attending project meetings, partnering with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrixed environment, as well as coordinating with other teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in handling large data volume and Performance Tuning.
• Ability to design the system with little direction or guidance.
• Expert Knowledge in Oracle/Exadata.
• Expert Knowledge Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• ETL Processing concepts.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Unix Shell.
• AutoSys.
• Java/Python.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Excellent analytical and logical skills.
• Self-starter with thought leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence.
• Ability to partner with both technology and business associates to implement solutions.
• Strong knowledge of project life cycle, Data Warehousing, Dimensional Data Modeling.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work closely with business partners to develop requirements, record and document the design.
• Lead/Participate in discussions with information architecture team for determining design solutions.
• Hands-on design and ETL development in Data Warehouse environment.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently, take ownership & pride in the work done.
• Partner with near shore and offshore teammates in a matrix environment.
• Work with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements and address real-time issues in production.
• Identify gaps in technology and propose viable solutions.
• Take accountability of the technical deliveries from offshore.
• Identify improvement areas within the application and work with the respective teams to implement the same.
• Ensure adherence to defined process & quality standards, best practices, high-quality levels in all deliverables.
• Adhere to teams governing principles and policies.
