Senior Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for aSenior Structural Engineerwith a minimum 10 years of experience for our LA Woodland Hills office, who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will be a licensed engineer with solid experience in the design of steel, concrete and wood commercial/institutional buildings.
In This Role You Will:
- Perform and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects.
- Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
- Lead project teams of engineers, designers and drafters to execute structural designs.
- Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
- Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications.
- Manage profitability of projects and maintain a working relationship with clients.
- Work closely with the Discipline Manager to support the needs of the department, projects, and growth objectives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Approximate Base Salary $120,000 - $150,000+ based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
