Production Supervisor (Rotating Shift)

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night) | 5:30 AM 5:30 PM / 5:30 PM 5:30 AM
Shift Pattern: (phone number removed) rotation
Training: Conducted on day shift (12-hour schedule)
Location: Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on a rotating shift schedule. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, and developing a high-performing team.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production team members on the manufacturing floor
  • Lead daily shift meetings to review goals, recognize achievements, and address concerns
  • Ensure safety, quality, cost, and production targets are met
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust workflows as needed
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and company policies
  • Maintain a safe working environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Training & Development
  • Train and mentor employees on equipment operation, safety protocols, and SOPs
  • Support onboarding of new hires and ongoing skill development
Leadership & Team Building
  • Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
  • Recognize team and individual achievements to drive engagement
  • Develop a flexible, cross-trained workforce
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Lean manufacturing principles
    • Safety regulations
    • Quality control processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aluminum manufacturing operations
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement
  • Technical training or Associates degree
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to:
    • Noise
    • Heat
    • Moving equipment
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical training or Associates degree preferred
