Project Manager Level 2

Job Title: Project Manager - Level 2 (transmission asset capital projects) Location: Berlin, CT 06037 - 100% field work, Hybrid Job Type and Duration: 3 month contract to hire Pay range: $50 - $60hr W2 Work Hours: 7am-4pm ET Work Days: Mon-Fri. Role and Scope of Position The Project Manager leads the development of transmission asset capital projects with a strong focus on early scoping, assetcondition identification, capitalplanning alignment, and proactively advancing projects to constructionready status. The role is a key contributor to the Shovel-Ready Initiative, supporting identification and prioritization of transmission assetcondition projects and advancing their design and development to maintain a steady shelf of constructionready work that mitigates future financial gaps in the capital plan. Essential Functions 1. Lead early project scoping, feasibility reviews, and constructability assessments 2. Collaborate with Engineering and Asset Strategy to identify transmission assetcondition needs 3. Advance projects through design, permitting, environmental review, and development milestones 4. Develop and maintain schedules focused on constructionreadiness milestones 5. Track scope, cost, schedule, and risk during the projectdevelopment phase 6. Support bidpackage development and procurement preparation 7. Coordinate constructionreadiness requirements including access, outages, and material planning Experience and Education: 5 to 10 years of experience.
