    The Logistics Manager is responsible for maintaining all shipping & warehouse operations. He/She will establish metrics to improve warehouse performance, understand best practice shipment methods for domestic & export applications and supervise all personnel associated with the shipping warehouse operation (receiving, picking packing and shipping). (relocation provided).
    The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

    Develop, design and report health of the organization metrics. 
    Develop, design and report employee productivity metrics
    Plan and execute a warehouse move without negative customer impact.
    Establish and operate within budget.
    Maintain lowest price and best service for all freight services (both domestic and international).
    Understand all aspects in shipping methods, including HAZMAT.
    Advise organization on best methods for shipments.
    Maintain and implement knowledge on best industry practice.
    Understand and train employees in accordance with export compliance and homeland security.
    Supervise hourly shipping, receiving and finished good personnel.
    Ensure that 100% of orders presented are shipped daily.
    Maintain finished good database for accuracy and timelines.
    Regularly present productivity improvements to improve the overall shipping process and reduce cost of operation.
    Monitor daily cycle counts for accuracy at all finished good stocking locations.
    Oversee and coordinates all export shipping documentation.
    Ensure all product incoming to receiving is processed timely and accurately.
    Improve customer satisfaction through shipping performance.
    Review, monitor, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes.
    Implement and maintain 6S standards.
    Provide timely and quality services and support to all internal and external customers. Independently seek and identify problems and constraints blocking progress toward these objectives. Consistently develop creative and effective solutions to those opportunities.

    Requirements

    Four year college degree
    10 years experience in operations and shipping experience (5 years experience with a large player in warehousing such as Amazon, UPS or Grainger)
    Proven record of using proper leadership and metrics to drive cost out of operations and improve performance.
