Store Associate - PT

SUMMARY: The Store Associate is responsible for the day to day functions of running the Gift Shop/Store. Responsibilities include greeting and waiting on patrons, replenishing and ensuring freshness and quality of merchandise, following through with the daily accounting procedures, receiving, stocking, rotating and inventory. Completes organization, cleaning and sanitation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains the Erickson Living philosophy and 'Vision' statement.
2. Satisfies residents, guests and staff with services. Ensures the residents and patrons have an enjoyable experience in the stores.
3. Performs cash and charge transactions and reporting accurately, consistently and without error.
4. Ensures the receiving, stocking, rotating and inventory of merchandise.
5. Communicates appropriately with supervisors, staff and customers and listens effectively.
6. Food item preparation as assigned.
7. Ensures all health and sanitation standards are maintained.
8. Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE).
9. Ensures that the accounting is completed as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to deal effectively with several projects, an eye for detail and a friendly manner in dealing with patrons.
- Demonstrated accurate cash handling and reporting skills.
- Ability to complete duties while performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safe food handling.
- Knowledge and demonstrated practice of maintaining a clean, sanitary and organized store and work area.
- Employee will be required to work weekends and holidays

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a store environment preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

None
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language.
