Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a developer is to develop, create, and modify Trading Systems. A typical developer is responsible for designing applications or customizing applications for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
- Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
- Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
- Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Trading Systems development.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
- 8-10 years experience required.

Job Summary:
This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with financial technology professionals and business analysts in areas of regulatory change in investment banking industry.
The successful candidate will join team of software developers tasked with developing and extending functionality of strategic risk management system for Rates,FX and Structured Products Business.
He will be working with geographically dispersed and cross-functional team to deliver regulatory projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Understand sophisticated risk analytics and reporting functionality
2. Design, implement or extend functionality in strategic risk management system
3. System analysis and investigation to find technical solutions
4. Provide support to BAU teams.
Skills
Essential Skills And Experience:
1. Strong C# with multi-threading and object oriented design and programming
2. Databases - Microsoft SQL Server & SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Knowledge
3. Large scale multi-tier application development
4. Financial industry experience: PNL, risk metrics, market data and trade lifecycle Desirable Skills And Experience
5. Fixed Income and Interest Rates Derivatives knowledge

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- 7-9 years' experience required.
