Coordinates the scheduling and research faculty (including Department Chair) activities as they pertain to non-clinical aspects of each respective facultys responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordination of training/internship programs housed within the Department of Research & Innovation, including effective coordination of activities involving interdepartmental activities.

Apply knowledge and skills to independently oversee and maintain records pertaining to the Post-Doctoral Research Program, the Research Internship Program, as well as the St. Lukes/LKSOM.

Apply knowledge and skills to appropriately triage and escalate program-related issues.

Tracking scholarly activity at the Network level, including close collaboration with GME, School of Nursing, and the IRB.

Ensure that administrative documentation/submissions are accurate, properly formatted, complete, and in compliance with regulations and expectations of the involved programs.

Collaborates with direct supervisors on projects related to the positions immediate scope of responsibility. From time to time, special project participation may be required, and will be notified in advance

Coordinate and acquire the appropriate signatures for regulatory / enrollment / participation forms, and develop tracking tools for this process; Oversee and coordinate activities involving pertinent personnel, faculty and trainees.

Organize, prepare and maintain all essential regulatory documentation related to active Fellows, Interns, and other trainees, as required by SLUHN, LKSOM, GME, IRB, and CTO.

Interface with representatives / stakeholders from SLUHN, LKSOM, GME, IRB, and other third-party participants in the conduct of essential activities of the Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship, the Research Internship, and other key areas of the positions functioning.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Requires sitting for up to seven hours per day, 3 hours at a time. Standing for up to 4 hours per day, 3 hours at time. Requires occasional fine manual tasks, handling and twisting and turning. Occasionally requires lifting, carrying and pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally requires reaching above shoulder level. Must have the ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree preferred; will accept Associates degree or High School/GED degree with equivalent experience (3 years) with previous experience in advanced administrative coordination preferred. Familiar with medical and research terminology.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs required: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook; Internet Functions. Experience in health-related field (2 years) required.
