Description

Responsible for collecting and using service measurement data to optimize the network and reduce lost calls and ineffective attempts; creating new cell site translations and neighbor lists in support of regional build program activity; and supporting System Performance and RF Engineers in evaluating and improving throughput, SINR and areas of poor coverage by identifying and resolving system performance problems. Reporting problems to appropriate engineers; resolving customer service issues; and assisting in implementing solutions; collecting drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization; troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints and trouble tickets; auditing and optimizing network parameters and conducting special engineering studies.

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required in the cellular or telecommunications industry. General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies:
System Performance including: RF System Optimization techniques for 5G, VoLTE, LTE and 3G for Ericsson. System Design including: LTE and CDMA. Cells infrastructure including Ericsson.
Data Telecom experience including: EBH. Test equipment, data analysis tool and cell management platform including: DMAT, Windcatcher, Actix, XCAL, Datapro, Truecall, OSS, ENM, SON, PCI scanner and spectrum analyzer.
Proficient in basic office computer applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. 5 to 7 years of experience.
