Skills/ Items to Note:
-Not full blown Agile shop, led teams in agile dev to help them mature
-Combination of agile software and working with hardware team; more waterfall type development on the hardware side; experience working with other groups
-Whoever comes into this role, it is important to understand that there are software devs to roll out the product to consumers; get it to point to kick out and flows through the rest of Freestyle operations team; handed off the business end of the freestyle
-Team of close conjuncture with Software Dev and Software QA; no flexibility to be remote because of the nature of the work
-1 of biggest challenges to the team is they are managing multiple software releases at any given time
-platform-driven market for consumer-facing dispensers
Qualifications:
At least 3 experience leading agile scrum teams required. Guide the team and the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers; Guide on how to get the most of out of self-organization; Guide on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks; Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization; Remove the impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.; Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame retribution or being judged with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving. Facilitate getting the work done without coercion assigning or dictating the work. Facilitate the discussion decision making and conflict resolution; Assist with internal and external communication improving transparency and radiating information; Support and educate the Product Owner especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
