Overview: Develops and delivers automated processes plus mentoring non-accredited developers. Primary Responsibilities: Design complex robotic process solutions in accordance with standard Bank design principles and conventions. Configure robotic software application to effectively run proposed business processes; using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand. Create and maintain solution documentation; including test requirements and scenarios. Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured control process. Lead the analysis of design and production-related issues that arise in day-to-day running of robotic processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required. Work within project planning constraints, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly, and provide inputs to the change control process. Maintain strong relationships with business partners within the assigned areas, serving as champion of automation and a subject matter expert for the business to learn from. Support Production Control during live testing and deployment to production environment. Mentor colleagues by providing advice and guidance, as well as quality assurance of development efforts of less experienced staff. Advance the Banks innovation program through the development of new standards, testing of advanced design techniques and integration of new technologies. Understand and adhere to the Companys risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Companys Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M & T Bank brand. Maintain M & T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: This position communicates effectively with management at all levels and supports Modeling Manager in Robotic projects. Education and Experience Required: Bachelors degree and 2 years relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience Experience with reading and understanding basic job instructions or operating procedures Strong mathematical skills Strong reasoning skills Experience with pertinent spread sheet, word processing, and email software Experience in mentoring or guiding others Experience with assessing an issue and finding a solution using a structured approach Experience with working within a structured change environment, with strong adherence to corporate requirements Education and Experience Preferred: Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Programming, Computer Science or Software Development Minimum of 4 years relevant experience Work experience using Robotic Process Automation or Artificial Intelligence tools Understanding of how business processes translate into automated solutions; preferably in the financial, banking or insurance industries Experience working in a structured change control environment Aptitude for problem-solving, with ability to take a logical route to source of an error Self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team Location Buffalo, New York, United States of America … More
