JOB TITLE: Sr Tech-Facilities

You will be responsible for the monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, alarming and monitoring systems per specifications and operational procedures within Telecommunication technical facilities. You will perform maintenance and repair of the physical facilities structures, security and peripheral systems. You will also handle the emergency power and physical facility remedies at all technical facilities, a first responder during natural disasters or any other facilities threat to network safety. 7+ years of experience

JOB DUTIES:
- Performing maintenance on Telecommunication infrastructure.
- Performing and/or managing vendor repairs on all HVAC, generators, switchgear, UPSs, fire suppression, lighting, security, DC switches, and AC electrical systems.
- Ensuring our standards are implemented in everyday activities.
- Ensuring we continue to meet all OSHA, state and federal environmental standards/laws and best practices.
- Creating new ways, as well as maintaining existing efforts to support carbon footprint reduction across the network.
- Maintaining equipment used to support our disaster relief efforts, such as generators and HVAC, both portable and stationary.
- Maintaining building management systems (CSI, TAC, JCI, and Midwatch).
- Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself, your team and the network.
- Security background investigation for customer site access may be required.
- May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience and capability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for multiple facilities in the areas of AC/DC power, UPSs, fire suppression, lighting, HVAC, generators, chillers and mechanical journeyman status.
- Ten or more years of commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- EPA refrigeration certification.
- Licenses to work with refrigerants and service knowledge.
- Liebert/York/etc. factory training.
- Experience with chilled water systems including chillers, pumps, cooling towers and associated control valves, piping and operating controls.
- Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting centrifugal and screw technology chillers and associated system components.
- Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret equipment log reports.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve operational problems.
- Experience with large rooftop package direct expansion equipment (Intellipak).
- Experience with commercial air handling units and exhaust systems.
- DDC controls knowledge.
- Ability to read electrical schematic and/or control diagrams, and read blue prints.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of DC Plants

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

REQUIRED SHIFT:
Monday thru Friday shifts, typically 8 to 5
Emergency callouts are possible
Weekend work possible - Callout only
