Purpose
Supports and assists the Manager of Business Process & Execution in the creation and implementation of strategy with regard to center store operations, which include; Grocery, FF, Dairy, GM/HHB, Tab and Fuel and future strategies and initiatives.
Collaborates with across the Company to manage ongoing development, continuous improvement and functionality of all of the above with a focus on customer and associate friendly solutions to drive efficiencies at the front end, center store and tool management. Oversees user acceptance testing of system changes or new technology.
Ensures enterprise operating procedures (EOP) are developed for each new or existing business process, new project or initiative. Develops processes that will support the Oracle strategic direction.
Removes expense from the Company including supporting systems or changes that will improve best methods, ensure compliance, act as a subject matter expert, implementation of new programs and standardization.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
** Understands and leverages best practices across the enterprise with regard to programs, projects and initiatives in the areas of Grocery, FF/Dairy, GM/HHB and TAB/Fuel
** Supports the Director of Store Operations in the creation and support of the Company strategy with regard to the above
** Provides business requirements to IT and other functions for negotiation of new or existing technology and process solutions
** Represents the banners business needs and company strategy in this activity
** Oversees the day-to-day activities and development of Center Store Operations staff and user acceptance testers
** Performs or oversees analysis and benchmarking (possibly in collaboration with other functions or vendors) to understand and improve current business situation
** Works with banners, Labor Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Strategic Development, Process Excellence, Retail Implementation and IT to assist in creation of best methods, training and implementation tools
** Works with Merchandising and Marketing to assist in developing best methods, compliance, EOPs and standardization in the areas of Center Store Operations
** Develops strong relationships with internal operations support team, IT, Labor Management, Strategic Development, Process Excellence, Retail Implementation and banners to successfully drive programs and policies across the enterprise

Number of Associates Supervised: Directly 1-3 Indirectly 10-15
** Teams will in many cases be virtual
** Scope and complexity will vary by level
Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
** Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred and/or 5+ years of experience in Center Store, Grocery, FF/Dairy, GM/HHB and TAB/Fuel preferably with the Company
** Must have strong project planning and executive skills
** Must have the ability to work in cooperation with others to achieve results
** Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with personnel at all levels effectively
** Must work effectively in a team environment
** Must have PC skills and desktop application knowledge
** Strong attention to detail
Physical Environment
** Most work is performed in a temperature controlled office environment
** Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
** Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
** Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of role duties
** Travel may be required, estimated up to 25%
