Identity Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW This position will be responsible for engineering identity solutions related to Microsoft Active Directory, including Azure Active Directory, and will provide strategic guidance for enterprise privileged access management.RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for engineering enterprise identity solutions related to Microsoft Active Directory.

The priority for this role is to develop, implement, and continuously evolve a risk-based strategy for General Mills' (GMI) authentication platforms that leverage Active Directory identities.The position will work closely with the manager of the AD Identity team, the Microsoft Enterprise Solutions team, and internal/external stakeholders to successfully advance AD security and identity solutions.

* Partner closely with GMI's functions and business segments to identify a risk-based and business-enabling identity framework aimed at reducing security risk and increasing compliance with relevant GMI policies and standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations * Serve as a liaison with Information Technology, Solutions Development, and the business to architect security solutions in the Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments * Collaborate with the AD Identity manager and other technical groups to develop a long-term authentication strategy for technologies leveraging Active Directory, including Multi-Factor Authentication, Active Directory Federation Services, Azure Active Directory, and Privileged Access Management * Manage multiple complex projects that touch all facets of Identity and Access Management * Develop and document policies and standards for governing Identity and Access ManagementEvaluate opportunities to extend the application of privileged access management (PAM) technologies * Develop a long-term strategy for the implementation of PAM technologies throughout the GMI environment * Initiate continuous improvement opportunities to streamline and automate operational work * Resolve day-to-day issues to ensure that AD identity solutions are meeting end-user requirements and expectations * Leverage synergies across the Global Security team to design, implement, and manage effective Identity and Access Management controls * Serve as a mentor to other team members #cb REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree * 5+ years of experience with identity/security technologies * Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory * Experience building and leveraging cross-functional partnerships within a matrix organization on a global scale * Experience developing strategy and successfully managing complex security technology projects * Ability to present technical architecture requirements in a clear and concise manner to a non-technical audience * Strong analytical, design, and documentation skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with people at various levels and the ability to build client and team relationships * Possesses a continuous improvement mindset to reduce repetitive and non-productive tasks * Flexibility to respond 24/7 to urgent matters with a bias for decisive action PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE * Experience with implementing and/or administering enterprise privileged access management technologies.
