The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience within an automotive manufacturing environment and will also have experience with CNC machinery. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work with Assembly on suspected qualityrelated assembly defects
* Oversee PPAP/PCR Process (once received) and maintain PPAP report
* Oversee and maintain IMDS entries
* Engage in company audits by reviewing new qualityaudits, countermeasure confirmation audits and quality improvement (high PPM) audits
* Participate in qualitymeetings
* Overseeing and maintaining multiple logs in relation to PPAP filing systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* Four year technical degree, or two (2) year degree with five (5) years of quality engineering experience
* Basic understanding and knowledge of blueprint skills, which may lead into advanced skills
* Excellent computer skills with use of Microsoft office applications (including Excel)
* Basic problem solving skills that may develop into advanced skills
* Proven people leadership skills (interpersonal communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills)
* Ability to analyze manufacturing processes for improvements in quality, efficiency and cost reduction
